Turkey yesterday expressed interest in constructing elevated expressway in Dhaka and making investment in Bangladesh in larger volumes in various development sectors. Two villages were inundated as the embankment on the bank of the River Kapotaksi breached at the Gazipara point of Koyra in Khulna on Thursday. About 300 families, 100 bighas of boro field, 250 small shrimp enclosures and 20 ponds of Gazipara and Gabbunia went under water, the local people said.
