Bioefficacy of carbosulfan 20EC agaiinst rice steam borer, Scripophaga Incertulas (Pyralidae: Lepidoptera) in Assam

The efficacy of carbosulfan was evaluated during kharif, 2005-06 against rice stem borer, Scripophaga incertulas in comparison with chlorpyriphos. The results revealed that all the insecticidal treatments reduced the insect population significantly over untreated control and incurred significantly higher yield.
